What personal data does Charlwood Leigh collect?

As Independent Financial Advisers, we are obliged by Law to obtain certain information from you about your personal and financial circumstances, to assess the suitability for particular products and services for your needs.  This is to ensure that we choose the right schemes for you with reference to your current planning and your overall personal financial situation.

 

Will Charlwood Leigh supply any third parties with my personal details?

Where necessary we may be required to disclose your personal information, including health and medical history, to third parties, to carry out the terms of our engagement or to comply with legal or regulatory requirements, ie product providers, credit reference agencies and the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

Does Charlwood Leigh use cookies?

Charlwood Leigh does use cookies. Cookies are small files that are placed on your computer by your browser which allow us to remember you each time you visit. Cookies contain no personal details about you and they can be disabled by changing your browser preferences.

Charlwood Leigh uses Google Analytics to track website trends without identifying individual visitors. The cookies used by Google Analytics stores information, such as what time the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before and what site referred the visitor to Charlwood Leigh.

Steps will be taken to ensure that the information is accurate, kept up to date and not kept for longer than is necessary.  Measures will also be taken to safeguard against unauthorised or unlawful processing and accidental loss or destruction or damage to the data.

Subject to certain exceptions, you are entitled to have access to your personal and sensitive personal data held by us. You may be charged a fee (subject to the statutory maximum) for supplying you with such data.

Law

Any agreement entered into with Charlwood Leigh is governed and shall be construed in accordance with English Law and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
